Meet new people, learn new skills and have a whole lot of fun with painting, woodwork, pottery and craft. The Arts Hub in Warwick is a warm and welcoming centre that celebrates creativity and embraces diversity. We encourage people of all abilities to get involved and have some fun. It is an incredibly supportive centre where everyone has the opportunity to have a go. We welcome all ages from 18+.
Art Room
Learn to work with different art mediums such as acrylic and watercolour paints, oil pastels, charcoal, and inks to create beautiful works on paper and canvas. You can learn new techniques and art processes such as printmaking, paper mache, weaving and mixed media collage. The art room is a vibrant and fun place to be while you express your creative side.
Woodwork Room
Learn skills in woodburning, sanding, drilling, nailing and measuring. Over time you can learn to work on the bandsaw, lathe, and the router.
Pottery Room
Use various hand building techniques to create bowls, mugs, tiles, sculptures and more. Once you have created your clay work, choose from a range of coloured underglazes and painting techniques to decorate your piece and have it fired in our own kiln.
Craft Room
Create your own textile piece in the craft room. Learn a range of textile-based techniques such as knitting, crochet, embroidery, cross stitch, quilting, applique, and hand stitching. You can also learn to use the sewing and overlocking machine.
Social Activities
Come along to our weekly coffee and photography outings, join in our music and singing group, relaxation and aromatherapy group or pamper sessions.
You can even attend our Saturday outings where we visit local cafes, markets, parks and events. The Saturday outings are very popular, so bookings are essential to avoid disappointment.
We feature a collection of artwork for sale online and in person at both the Arts Hub and Helen's Place. All sales of featured artwork go directly to the artist in full. If you are interested in purchasing a piece, contact the Arts Hub by emailing contact@risenetwork.com.au .
We're here to support you.
