Rivers Peer Advisory Group Prepares for First Anniversary

13 June 2024

Our Rivers Peer Advisory Group recently met to plan the first anniversary of the Rivers Program. The group, made up of participants from Rise, MSCWA, and Wungening Aboriginal Corporation, brings together diverse perspectives to shape our activities and ensure they meet everyone’s needs.

The Rivers Program supports people with mental health or substance abuse issues through safe, inclusive activities across Perth. Drop-in hubs run throughout the week at various locations, including creative sessions at the Warwick Arts Hub on Wednesdays and varied activities on Thursdays (for example, upcoming Eating for Wellbeing Workshops). These sessions are free and open to anyone seeking support.

Find out more about Rivers and download the activity calendar here.

Excitement is building as we prepare for the anniversary celebration. Stay tuned for updates on what we have planned!
